Dogs in Weymouth

Here at Greenlands Guesthouse, we understand that your dog is part of your family and doesn't want to be left behind when you go away. Weymouth itself is a very dog-friendly resort with a number of pubs and restaurants that will welcome your best friend as well as dog-friendly areas of the beach (you can take your dog on the whole of the beach between 31st October and Good Friday.

At Greenlands Guest House we are happy to accommodate you and your dog.

Doggie Charges

Most other Hotels and B&Bs charge anything up to £20 per night extra just for your dog.

However, at Greenlands Guest House, we don't make a compulsory charge for your pet but we would appreciate/expect a donation toward a local animal rescue centre and there is a collection tin in the guest lounge.

We suggest a minimum donation of £5 per dog per stay but anything you can give will be very much welcomed.

Basic Rules

We're not sticklers for rules here at Greenlands but we do expect all animals to be kept under control at all times.

They can only be left unattended in your room as long as they are content and not left for lengthy periods.

All dogs should be kept on a lead in communal areas.

The cost of any loss, extra cleaning or damage  caused by your pet will be charged to you.

RADIPOLE PARK DRIVE GARDENS

Sometimes referred to as the ‘hidden’ or ‘Cinderella’ gardens of Weymouth, Radipole Park Drive Gardens are located off the beaten track, running alongside the RSPB Swannery Nature Reserve, Radipole Park Drive.

The gardens were designed in the 1920’s by world renown landscape architect, Edward White, Radipole Park and Gardens still retain many of its classic features, such as the sepentine path.
